- Birthday Celebration at Maria and Jonathan’s: Come celebrate with us as Jonathan turns 50! We will have a gathering on Saturday, November 22, 5:30 p.m. at Maria and Jonathan’s home. Come enjoy food and fellowship. If you plan to come please RSVP by November 19. No presents!
- Intergenerational Sunday School: Join us next Sunday, November 23, for an intergenerational Sunday school hour. All ages will be together in the fellowship hall for the sharing of a Bible story together, talking about it in table groups, and then doing some related activities. There will be activities for children, youth, and adults.
- Encounter Invitation: All are welcome to “Encounter,” a monthly gathering led by Ted Steiner and Anita Yoder. We meet at 7pm at First Baptist Church in Shaker Heights for a time of silence, singing, and sharing. We think it is very important to build community with one another, listening together for God’s loving voice. Please feel free to invoice any neighbors or friends who might enjoy and benefit from our gathering. Upcoming dates are: November 23 & December 14.
- Call for Conference Delegates: Our membership in the Allegheny Mennonite Conference allows our church to send seven delegates to the AMC Celebration Weekend taking place July 31-August 2. If you are interested in serving as a delegate, please let Pastor Alvis or Sue Coblentz know so that the church can budget accordingly.
- Missions Month: November is Missions month at FMC. We will be highlighting three of the organizations that FMC supports each Sunday and collecting a special offering that will be distributed evenly to the organizations at the end of the month.
