- Celebration Potluck: Today we celebrate the licensing of Anita Yoder within the Allegheny Mennonite Conference! We also welcome AMC Minister Amy Yoder McGloughlin, who is worshipping with us today. After the service, all are welcome to join in the Fellowship Hall for a potluck lunch.
- Pastor Alvis Vacation: Pastor Alvis will be away on vacation from November 9-22. During this time, the Tuesday Bible Study will not meet.
- Hope UMC Hike Invite: Members of Hope UMC have invited FMC to a hike at South Chagrin Reservation on Saturday, November 14 at 10am. The group will be meeting at Henry Church Rock parking lot/picnic area.
- Free Concert: Sunday, November 15 at 7:00pm, Hope UMC is hosting the Sonnenberg Station Men’s Choral group. This concert is free and open to all.
- Missions Month: November is Missions month at FMC. We will be highlighting the organizations that FMC supports each Sunday and collecting a special offering that will be distributed evenly to the organizations at the end of the month. Today, we recognize Camp Luz: Camp Luz is located in Orrville, Ohio and has been serving the Lord through camp ministry for over 70 years! Many children and youth of FMC have spent part of their summers at Camp Luz, enjoying the outdoors and growing in their faith. Camp Luz is currently undergoing a capital campaign to renovate and expand their facilities in the hopes of serving campers for another 70 years.
- MMN Prayer Request: United Mission to Nepal continues to respond to the devastation caused by flooding in the Rasuwa District of Nepal. Pray for the many families who have been displaced due to the damage that his natural disaster has caused.
